BROOKLYN - Mayor Michael Bloomberg has asked all city agencies to ?trim the fat? by 2.5 percent, a task that will require Borough President Marty Markowitz to cut jobs.

Markowitz says he will continue to reach out for public and private funding to keep programs up and running.
