BROOKLYN - Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz is auctioning off some of his prized possessions before his term comes to an end this year.

The proceeds of the auction will go to a charity that sends children to sleepaway camp.

The auction will include hats, photos, baseball seats from Ebbets Field, a piece of the Brooklyn Bridge and the shovel that broke ground at Barclays Center.

A date has not been set for the auction. Markowitz says he has also not made a decision about how the items will be auctioned, whether on eBay or the steps of Borough Hall.
