NEW YORK - (AP) - Police are searching for the person who shot a14-year-old boy to death on a Brooklyn street.

Police say Tyrek O'Hara-Morris was shot in the head around8:30 p.m. Wednesday in Crown Heights. He was pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital.

The victim's mother says her son was the youngest of five children and a freshman at Automotive High School in Greenpoint. She says he had gone out with his friends before being shot.

Police are still investigating the incident. No arrests have been made.
