BROOKLYN - Tenants at the Breukelen Houses in Canarsie are fed up with their living conditions, and they've come up with unique ways to ask for help.

Calvin Drumgo made a music video with lyrics and pictures that he took over the past several weeks. The video shows mounds of garbage surrounding the NYCHA complex, which he says caused a rodent problem in the apartments.

Residents say that someone from the housing authority recently cleared most of the garbage, but they are still upset that it took so long and are worried that the trash bags will only pile back up again.

NYCHA released a statement saying in part, "One of the reasons staff had fallen behind was the need for snow removal." It also called the situation unacceptable and said it is discussing ways to improve maintenance.
