Broadway star visits BK to talk healthy living

BROOKLY - An award-winning Broadway actor visited the borough today to encourage residents to live healthier lifestyles. Tony-winning and Emmy-nominated entertainer Ben Veeren took part in the 2012 Lighten Up Brooklyn campaign today. The health initiative event today included a power walk from Borough Hall to Brooklyn Heights Promenade, along with dance, yoga and Zumba classes. The anti-obesity campaign was launched 11 years ago.
