BROOKLYN - More than 100 pounds of broken glass will be made into a mosaic in Fort Greene Park.

The pieces of glass will be made into an art installation that will be completed this fall.

Residents say they are thrilled at the creativity of turning trash into a community art project.

Organizers encourage residents to make a drawing that will be pasted onto one of those pieces of glass in the installation.
