BROOKLYN - Administrators at Brookdale Medical Center are encouraging people to sign up for a course teaching the basics of CPR.

They say that learning CPR could make a lifesaving difference.

"If you start CPR early you keep that blood flowing, you keep that circulation going for as long as possible to give the person a fighting chance," says Dr. Dorian Alexander.

The courses start at $110 for basic training.
