BROOKLYN - The Brooklyn Children’s Museum has recently opened a new exhibit that encourages hands-on learning through “block play.”

The 1,000-square foot Brooklyn Block Lab is aimed at sparking the creative side of children ages 2 and older.

Parents are encouraged to sit and play with their children as they create with wood, foam, magnetic and specially made “imagination blocks” only found at two other museums in the nation.

The exhibit will remain in the Crown Heights museum until the end of August.
