BROOKLYN - Brooklyn officially welcomed its new borough president this evening.

Eric Adams was inaugurated at the auditorium at the Brooklyn Museum.

During his speech, Adams outlined his vision for the borough: "one Brooklyn."

Adams says his idea is to grow the borough's economy and improve the quality of life for its residents.

Attendees included New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and Sen. Charles Schumer.
