BROOKLYN - While rain isn't expected to disturb homes and roads in Brooklyn as it will in other parts of the city, residents are still bracing for bad weather this evening.

Some residents say they are nervous about tonight's weather, and strong winds have already taken down siding on some homes.

Many have been taking precautions, including making sure generators are working, lining doors and windows with silicon and bringing in outdoors items that could be blown away.
