BROOKLYN - A Brooklyn church today began marking the upcoming one-year of the devastating Haiti earthquake.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg addressed the 150-member congregation at Evangelical Crusade of Fishers of Men church in East Flatbush as part of the ceremony.

After the earthquake on Jan. 12, 2010, the church sent about six members to Haiti and many more soon followed. Church members who recently visited their homeland say not much has changed there a year after the earthquake.
