BROOKLYN - A church in Brooklyn is now a spot where New Yorkers can sign up for the popular IDNYC program.

Saint Brigid's church in Bushwick will now help Brooklyn residents set up appointments and fill out paperwork.

Program organizers say Bushwick and Williamsburg have a large immigrant community that will benefit from the municipal ID.

The card has benefits like access to government services, cultural benefits and discounts.

Staff will assist individuals getting IDs until the end of the month.
