Brooklyn, city parents get to voice concerns on new school bus routes

BROOKLYN - Parents got a chance to voice their concerns about the new school bus routes in Brooklyn and the city Tuesday. The city's Department of Education recently consolidated some routes because fewer students were taking the buses. Parents say the new routes and schedules have forced some students to take mass transit and others have to travel farther to new bus stops. Members of the City Council say since they expected a large turnout, two sessions were held.
