BROOKLYN - Brooklyn clergy members were in The Bronx Thursday to watch how NYPD officers respond to various situations while on the job.

The demo was part of the NYPD's firearms training. Officers played out how they are trained to handle such situations as domestic abuse calls. They showed how their training helps them to maintain control.

NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly says because of the training, the number of times an officer fires a weapon is at an all-time low.
