BROOKLYN - Brooklyn College officials say the college is expanding into a nearby food market due to increasing enrollment numbers.

Officials say the business school of the college comprises nearly 20 percent of the students and is in need of a new building.

Many residents say they are sad to see the market go, but say that education is very important and are glad to see the school grow.

Officials say the agreement with the college and market was reached in February, allowing the market to find a new place to move to.
