BROOKLYN - Creators of the "Plus Pool" are getting feedback from the community as they continue their planning.

Community members and professors got their chance to weigh in today and learn a little bit more about plans for an Olympic-sized floating pool on the East River. The creative minds behind the pool gave a presentation at New York City College of Technology, providing an opportunity for people to understand exactly what's going on and ask questions.

Although still in the planning stages, creators say the high tech pool will filter water from the East River without using chemicals or additives. Instead they say the walls will be made using a layered filtration system.

The Plus Pool could be operating as soon as Summer 2016.
