BROOKLYN - The Brooklyn Cyclones' baseball season is officially under way!

Baseball fans celebrated opening night at MCU Park Monday with new menu items and a remodeled memorabilia gallery. A new social media scoreboard is also up, allowing fans the chance to earn points and win prizes through Twitter, Facebook and Foursquare.

This year the average age of players on the field is just over 21, with a record number of teenagers. Managers say they believe the young blood will make for an exciting season.
