Players will wear jerseys inspired by the popular 90s television show.

BROOKLYN - The Brooklyn Cyclones threw it back to the 90s with a salute to "Saved by the Bell." 

The team kicked off their season-long "Way Back Wednesday" series at MCU Park, complete with a number of "Saved By the Bell" inspired games and giveaways. Mr. Belding himself was on hand to sign autographs. 

Players wore jerseys inspired by the popular television show that introduced a die-hard fan base for Zack Morris, Kelly Kapowski, A.C. Slater, Screech and the rest of the gang. 

Also joining in on the fun was the cast of the off-Broadway "Bayside: The Musical" with a pre-game performance.
