Brooklyn Diocese ordains 2 auxiliary bishops

BROOKLN - The Brooklyn Diocese ordained two auxiliary bishops today in a ceremony at Our Lady of Angels Church in Bay Ridge.

Monsignors Paul Sanchez and Raymond Chappetto were ordained as bishops after being appointed to the position by Pope Benedict XVI.

Bishops Sanchez and Chappetto will assist Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio with services and sacraments for the 1.4 million Catholics living within the diocese.
