BROOKLYN HEIGHTS - A doorman in Brooklyn Heights has been honored for going above and beyond the call of duty.

Ronald Williams has been named Doorman of the Year by his union because of his efforts in making things run smoothly at Cadman Towers.

Tenants of the building say Williams has worn many hats - at times baby sitter, security guard, receptionist and even resident psychologist - during his 27 years as the building's doorman.
