BROOKLYN - Brooklyn enjoyed a welcome change in weather Wednesday after heavy downpours drenched the borough.

Rainstorms left behind cooler temperatures, making for a pleasant summer day. Residents said they were happy to see sunshine and blue skies.

The borough will be drying out and heating back up again before another round of rain arrives Sunday.
