BROOKLYN - Two Brooklyn women have their sights set on opening a place to taste sweet treats in the borough, and they're setting about it in a unique way.

Allison Kave and Keavy Blueher are running a Kickstarter campaign to raise money so that they can open a dessert and cocktail bar, to be called Butter and Scotch.

The Brooklyn residents met a few years ago while selling their baked goods individually at Brooklyn Flea and Smorgasburg.

The two have a goal of raising $50,000 and they're already just a few thousands dollars shy of reaching it.
