Brooklyn family to file suit over woman's death in blizzard

BROOKLYN - The family of a Bushwick woman announced today it plans to file a lawsuit against the city following the death of its loved one during the December blizzard.

Robert Davis says he waited with his wife, Claire Reed, for more than an hour and a half for an ambulance to come Dec. 27. He says his wife was complaining of chest pains. Davis says he tried to perform CPR, but it was too late by the time help arrived.

Reed's daughter says the family plans to sue in hopes that something like this never happens again.
