Brooklyn Fashion Weekend kicks off

SUNSET PARK - Brooklyn Fashion Weekend kicked off today featuring an eco-friendly theme full of colors and variety.

One group of designers featured this evening were students from William H. Maxwell High School in East New York. The students created an entire collection of clothing out of T-shirts.

Designers backstage said residents can expect red to be the "it" color for the fall and winter seasons.

Brooklyn Fashion Weekend will continue through Sunday with various events each day.
