BROOKLYN - A local artist is putting Brooklyn on display in a big way at the Barclays Center.

Jose Parla unveiled his latest masterpiece: a 70-foot long mural titled "Diary of Brooklyn." Parla says he used his borough roots, along with the book "Brooklyn Is" by James Agee, as inspiration.

The artwork is located at the arena's EmblemHealth Dean Street entrance and is also visible from the street.
