BROOKLYN - A group home worker from Brooklyn is accused of hitting and threatening a patient under her care, according to police.

Sandra Cintron, 39, is facing assault charges after police say she repeatedly struck an intellectually disabled patient in the head. 

Cintron is also accused of having threatened the victim.

She was suspended from her job at the Federation of Multicultural Programs and is due back in court on April 21.
