BROOKLYN - Hundreds of students at one Bushwick school are crediting a Department of Education program with helping to expand their classroom achievements.

The DOE's Expanded Success Initiative has inspired academic growth at Brooklyn High School for Law and Technology through new programs, such as a mock courtroom and a TV studio.

ESI launched two years ago in 40 schools citywide to help black and Latino students prepare for their futures.

Educators say they've already seen a huge impact.
