BROOKLYN - Many Brooklyn children were welcomed into new loving families as part of National Adoption Day.

A total of 50 children were adopted at the family courthouse in Downtown Brooklyn, all ranging from 1 to 14 years old.

The kids said they couldn't be happier to find a permanent home and family.

The city's Administration for Children's Services encourages all families to consider adoption.
