BROOKLYN - Ordinary beef jerky may be a tough sell for some food lovers. However, Kings County Jerky says its chewy treat is a gourmet version of the popular snack.

Owners of Kings County Jerky say the meat they use is pasture-raised, grass-fed beef from local farmers. Spices and marinades to create flavors are made in their Williamsburg factory.

For non-meat eaters, owners say they offer a Portobello mushroom jerky.
