Brooklyn lights up holiday tree at Borough Hall

BROOKLYN - Brooklyn has decked the halls at Borough Hall during its annual tree lighting ceremony.

Attendees counted down as one special kid was chosen to flip the switch that lit up the holiday tree Tuesday night.

Outgoing Borough President Marty Markowitz led the festivities, which included steel pan music by the Sesame Flyers.

Santa Claus, a snowman and even a gingerbread man were on hand to greet the children.
