CLINTON HILL - A man is facing 50 years to life in prison after he was convicted Wednesday of raping and torturing a former girlfriend.

Prosecutors say 31-year-old Alex Anselmo pushed his way into the victim's Bedford-Stuyvesant apartment in April 2013 and held her captive for three days.

During that time, he shaved off her hair and repeatedly cut her feet with a knife.

His sentencing is set for next month.
