CANARSIE - Police say a 47-year-old mother of two was fatally struck by a bus in Brooklyn this morning.

According to emergency officials, the unnamed victim was hit at Avenue K and East 105th Street in Canarsie at around 7 a.m.

A witness says the victim was being dropped off by her husband to catch the 103 bus. As she was crossing the street at Avenue K, the witness says a Rides Unlimited Nassau Suffolk bus struck her.

Police are still on the scene, trying to piece together what happened.
