BROOKLYN - A Brooklyn mom and minimum wage worker had the opportunity to witness President Barack Obama's State of the Union address in person.

State Sen. Charles Schumer brought Shareeka Elliott as his guest to the speech in Washington Tuesday night.

Elliott, who works at John F. Kennedy Airport, spoke in a video about how much it meant to be able to represent her fellow low-wage workers at the event.
