Brooklyn players heat up HITS street ball league

BROOKLYN - Brooklyn basketball players heated things up at the season opening of Hoops in the Sun (HITS) street ball league in The Bronx.

The popular basketball league kicked off its 13th year with some top talent. NBA players from the past, present and future will hit the court every weekend all summer.

HITS Commissioner Joe Cruz Jr. says he's expecting a great season with a new girls division, an expanded boys division and a strong lineup for the pro division.
