BROOKLYN - Brooklyn Public Library's central branch has kicked off its annual summer reading program.
Today's kickoff included dancing, singing and reading. Library officials say the goal of the program is to get children excited about reading, and continue the learning all summer long.
Summer reading program events will be held at the library’s branches through Labor Day.
