BROOKLYN HEIGHTS - The Brooklyn Public Library is asking for feedback on its plans for redeveloping the Brooklyn Heights branch.
The branch is asking for the public to weigh in on the seven different proposals for the site.
The library would be on the ground floor of the new development. Plans for the new building include eco-friendly construction, a rooftop garden, shopping and affordable housing. Some library patrons say they don't like the idea of the library being the ground floor of a high-rise building.
People can comment on the different proposals through Jan. 17.
