BROOKLYN - One Brooklyn resident is among five victims killed in a car accident in Queens Sunday morning.

According to police, Christine Epchon, of Flatbush, was in a Mercedes SUV traveling on Atlantic Avenue in Jamaica when it hit a concrete pillar and burst into flames as it flipped over. They believe speed played a factor, but have not released information on how fast the car was going.

Two other women, an 8-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy, all from The Bronx, were also killed. Three others were injured, including a 7-year-old boy.

The exact cause of the accident remains under investigation, but no criminality is suspected.
