BROOKLYN - A Brooklyn resident is opening bike part vending machines so neighbors can fix their bikes on the go.

Shimon Kivman came up with Express Biker vending machines to provide a service that was needed for amateur cyclists such as himself.

The vending machines can be found at the Emporium Gas station at Flushing and Clinton avenues and the Mobil gas station on Empire Boulevard near Prospect Park.

Kivman says he plans to add more vending machines to places like college campuses, grocery stores and parking lots.

The items range from $5 to $30.
