BROOKLYN - Hot temperatures didn't keep some Brooklyn residents from enjoying the outdoors.

In Sunset Park, many people were out lying on blankets and soaking up the sun's rays while sipping on cold beverages.

Others enjoyed a game of soccer, with frequent stops to grab some water in order to stay hydrated.

Experts say tips to keep cool are to wear light clothing and drink plenty of water.
