BROOKLYN - People bracing for a snowy commute woke up relieved to see bare streets and sidewalks.

The borough was expecting another round of heavy snow, but didn't see much more than a light dusting before the sun even came up.

Sanitation trucks were out salting the roadways, but the plows were given a pass.

Everyone is still bundling up as a frigid cold front moves into the region.
