More than 30 senior centers in Brooklyn could be forced to shut their doors if funding is cut.The Council of Senior Centers and Services released

BROOKLYN - More than 30 senior centers in Brooklyn could be forced to shut their doors if funding is cut.

The Council of Senior Centers and Services released a list of locations that would close if the state cuts $25 million. The organization says the centers could be closed within a month.

Many say if centers are cut, they will have nowhere to turn for basic help. Lawmakers plan to travel to Albany to lobby against the cuts.
