NEW YORK - Brooklyn shoppers lined up for Black Friday deals on Thursday despite the Thanksgiving holiday.

Kmart opened its doors at 6 a.m. and will stay open for 41 hours straight. One location even saw a line of eager people who couldn't pass up the chance to kick off their holiday shopping before eating their turkey.

Toys R Us opened at 5 p.m. and will be open until 10 p.m. on Saturday. One of the big draws this year are the gift cards that the store is giving customers if they spend a certain amount of money.
