BROOKLYN - Dozens of Brooklyn students were evacuated following a bomb scare Thursday morning.

Few details are available, but police confirm that they were on scene investigating a bomb threat at 226 Bristol St. The schools at that location are Frederick Douglass Academy and Teachers Preparatory High School.

Officers cleared the scene shortly after and students were able to return to their classrooms.

The Department of Education says it's looking into the matter.
