BENSONHURST - A Brooklyn teacher is being hailed as a hero after running into a burning Bensonhurst building today to rescue children trapped inside.

Joseph Naftaly, who teaches at the Megan David Yeshiva, says he saw smoke billowing from 2116 78th St. and rushed in to save the children.

The children, who were unharmed, range in age from 6 months to 2 years old.
