Brooklyn teen fatally stabbed with screwdriver

BROOKLYN - Police say a teen was fatally stabbed multiple times with a screwdriver in Sheepshead Bay Wednesday night.

Authorities say 13-year-old Miguel Saavedra was stabbed at around 7:30 p.m. on East 15th Street. First responders rushed the teen to Lutheran Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

According to media reports, the stabbing may have been the result of an argument that took place over the weekend. So far, no arrests have been made.
