BROOKLYN - A number of construction projects are in store for the borough this weekend.

One tube will be closed in the Queens Midtown Tunnel from Manhattan to Queens and will reopen Monday at 5 a.m. The open tube will take on two-way traffic for the weekend.

Tompkins Avenue will be closed Saturday until 6 p.m. for Summer Fest Weekend Walks. The closure will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Hancock Street to Putnam Avenue.

A construction project on East 8th Street will shut the road down from Caton to Kermit places through the weekend.

Alternate-side parking rules will be in effect.
