BROOKLYN - A 234-pound baby walrus has found a new home right in Brooklyn.

The New York Aquarium will nurse the 15-week-old walrus named Mitik back to health after he was rescued off the coast of Alaska in July.

The Coney Island aquarium is one of just a handful of U.S. institutions that has walruses. He'll spend the first month in quarantine and will join the exhibit this spring.
