BROOKLYN - A Brooklyn woman who almost died a few months ago was able to reunite today with those who gave her a second chance at life.

Serene Brown, 30, collapsed and went into cardiac arrest at a Williamsburg restaurant while dining with her boyfriend. When the EMTs got to the scene, they had to use a defibrillator to restart her heart.

Brown, along with four other Brooklyn survivors, was able to thank those who helped save them as part of the FDNY's 17th annual Second Chance Brunch.
