BROWNSVILLE - A Brownsville grandmother says she's lucky to be alive after being hit in the neck by a stray bullet Thursday.

Margaret Johnson, 70, says she was cooking in her kitchen on East New York Avenue Thursday when the bullet flew through the window. She was taken to the hospital, treated and released.

Police say no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting and are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
