BROWNSVILLE - Volunteers at the Kappa V School in Brownsville spent their Thanksgiving making sure others had something to be thankful for.An army of volunteers served up a Thanksgiving meal to people who otherwise would go without. Earl James, who organized the dinner, says he can?t put a price tag on the feeling he gets making other people happy. Many of the volunteers say they have a lot to be thankful for and wanted to help others on the holiday.

The free meal was sponsored by the school and the local Police Athletic League.
